Day 125 Wednesday 3rd August 2011
Not much to report today – just a long ride from Volgograd past Rostov to Taganrog. We managed to dodge three rather fierce looking thunderstorms on our way and we found our boutique hotel just in time as the heavens opened and turned the road into a river just after we started our check in.
The promised wi-fi at the hotel only worked in the reception so we had to work fast to book a hotel in Ukraine for tomorrow. We managed and we are staying in Dnipetrovesk tomorrow night (if the Ukranian border crossing goes OK tomorrow).
Our plan is to hit the road early – Taganrog is only about 30 miles from the border – so we should be OK.
